F1 and F2 fiscalization in one place

Moj Obrt works out which fiscalization regime applies to each invoice and handles it for you.

F1 fiscalization

Supported

Invoices to individuals, and cash or card payments, are fiscalized directly with the Croatian Tax Administration. Just upload your fiscalization certificate.

  • Direct connection to the Tax Administration (CIS)
  • ZKI and JIR generated when the invoice is issued
  • Verification link on the PDF invoice
  • Test and production environments

F2 fiscalization (e-invoicing)

Supported

B2B invoices are sent as structured e-invoices (UBL 2.1, Croatian CIUS) through an information intermediary. We currently support ePoslovanje.hr: connect your account with an API key and Moj Obrt tracks the invoice status for you.

  • ePoslovanje.hr integration
  • Your contract and your API key – we are not an information intermediary
  • Automatic invoice status tracking
  • Test and production environments

More information intermediaries (Fina, Moj eRačun) coming soon.

From 1 Jan 2027, F2 fiscalization is mandatory for sole traders invoicing legal entities. Read what changes →

Import e-invoice XML

Import e-invoice XML (UBL) from providers we don't support yet to keep track of your revenue in one place. Imported invoices are only recorded – they are not fiscalized again.

News for sole traders

From 1 January 2027, sole traders (obrtnici) who issue invoices to legal entities in the Republic of Croatia must fiscalize those invoices with F2 fiscalization. A PDF invoice sent by email is no longer enough – the invoice has to be an e-invoice (eRačun) sent through an information intermediary.

To invoice business clients in other EU countries your obrt needs a VAT ID, and that doesn't mean you have to enter the VAT system. Here is how to get it in ePorezna, what goes on the invoice, and which forms, ZP and PDV, you file afterwards for every month in which you had such work.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Moj Obrt and fiscalization.

What is Moj Obrt?

Moj Obrt is a web app for issuing invoices and offers, built for Croatian sole traders (obrt), freelancers and small businesses. It supports F1 and F2 (e-invoicing) fiscalization, VAT, invoices in Croatian and English, foreign clients, PDF invoices and an API for issuing invoices programmatically.

What is F1 fiscalization and does Moj Obrt support it?

F1 is the classic fiscalization of invoices with the Croatian Tax Administration: each invoice gets a security code of the issuer (ZKI) and the Tax Administration returns a unique invoice identifier (JIR). Moj Obrt supports F1 – you upload your fiscalization certificate (.p12) and we sign invoices and send them directly to the Tax Administration.

What is F2 fiscalization (e-invoicing) and does Moj Obrt support it?

F2 (Fiscalization 2.0) makes it mandatory to issue and receive structured e-invoices through information intermediaries: for VAT payers from 1 January 2026, and for all domestic B2B transactions from 1 January 2027. Moj Obrt supports F2 – currently through ePoslovanje.hr. You sign a contract with ePoslovanje.hr, paste your API key into Moj Obrt, and we generate the e-invoice and track its status. More intermediaries will be added later.

How does Moj Obrt know which fiscalization applies?

The regime is determined for each invoice from the client type (individual or company), the client's country, your business's VAT status and the payment method. Invoices to domestic individuals are fiscalized as F1, and B2B invoices as F2 (or F1 for cash or card payments). This is a default suggestion – always confirm the applicable regime with your accountant.

Can I import e-invoices issued through another provider?

Yes. On the invoices list you can import an e-invoice in XML format (UBL) issued through a provider Moj Obrt doesn't support yet. The invoice is only recorded so you can keep track of your revenue – it is not fiscalized again, because it was already fiscalized with that provider. Regular invoices in EUR issued by your business are supported.

Can I invoice foreign clients?

Yes. Moj Obrt supports foreign clients and multi-language documents. Invoices to foreign clients are outside Croatian fiscalization, and the appropriate VAT notes are added to the invoice.

Can I track my hours and bill them to a client?

Yes. With Projects (Starter and Pro plans) you create a project, optionally link it to a client and set an hourly rate, and log your hours day by day with an optional note. When it's time to invoice, pick a period (a month by default) and Moj Obrt prefills the invoice with the unbilled hours. Hours that are already on an invoice are marked as billed, so you never bill them twice.

How much does Moj Obrt cost?

The free plan includes up to 2 invoices per month with fiscalization. Starter costs €4.99 per month (up to 50 invoices and offers per month, company logo, offers and up to 20 projects with time tracking), and Pro costs €19.99 per month (up to 500 invoices and offers per month, unlimited projects, plus fiscalizing invoices from Stripe).

Can I try fiscalization before going live?

Yes. Every business has a test mode with a separate test environment for F1 and F2, so you can try invoices without touching real data or submitting to production.

Are my certificate and API key safe?

Fiscalization certificates and intermediary API keys are stored encrypted. Moj Obrt is not an information intermediary: your contract with ePoslovanje.hr stays directly between you and them.

Is there an API for issuing invoices programmatically?

Yes. You can generate API keys and issue invoices programmatically, for example from your web shop or another system.

Does Moj Obrt replace my accountant?

No. Moj Obrt automates issuing and fiscalizing invoices but does not give tax advice. Fiscalization and VAT rules change, so confirm the applicable regime for your business with your accountant.
